PSS Group-B examination for the year 2009 notification released

Dear Comrades,
Department of Posts issued notification for conducting PSS Group-B Examination for the year 2009. The vacancy position is as follows.
For General line: OC-25,SC-6 and ST-2
 for IP Line: OC-21,SC-3 and ST-2
Last date for submission of applications by the candidate is 28/02/2010
Eligibility:
For General Line: 5 years of regular service in LSG and above cadre as on 01/01/2008 (TBOP and BCR PAs are not eligible)
For IP line: 5 Years of regular service in IP cadre as on 01/01/2008.
Syllabus:
Same as for last examination with addition of Postal Manual Vol-I in paper-II

DOPT issued a wonderfull order regarding Govt. servants covered by New Pension Scheme

According to this order Govt. Servants who appointed on or after 01/01/2004 will cover New Pension Scheme can get Provisional Pension according to Old Pension Scheme where Govt.Servant Died/Retired on medical invalidation.For details Please click this link to down load the order
