Directorate declared results of Postal Services Group-B Examination held on 03/06/2012

Dear comrades,

Postal Directorate declared results of PS Group-B examination held on 03/06/2012 vide Memo No.A-34013/03/2012-DE dated 17/07/2012. The Hon’ble CAT held that” an interim order prayed for staying the Limited Departmental Competitive Examination for promotion to PS Gr.B held on 3-6-2012 as notified vide letter dated 10/4/2012 cannot be considered without any reply from respondents.” In view of this position, no blanket ban can be applied for holding of the departmental Examination, as notified by the Department. However, it is provided that, the final result of this examination will be subject to final order of this tribunal “. Therefore result of this examination will be subject to the final order of Hon’ble Tribunal in OA No.235/2012 The SPG section is also requested for incorporating this clause in the appointment/promotion order to be issued.
