Sub: -   Counting of induction training period for grant of financial upgradation under TBOP/BCR Scheme-Reg

Ref: -   Directorate Lr.No.44-2/2011-SPB-II dated 05.05.2016

            Please refer to the Directorate orders cited above, where in it was requested the heads of the circles to “take action for regularisation of the period of induction training of Postal Assistants/Sorting Assistants (Direct recruits) working in operative offices, undergone prior to 1986 for the purpose of qualifying service under TBOP/BCR schemes, as a onetime measure”.

            In this connection this union is requesting you to take immediate necessary action in regularisation of the training periods of the eligible officials and fixation may please be made as early as possible i.e. before implementation of 7^th Pay commission so that their pay may be fixed accordingly as per the new pay commission without any hindrance.

            An expeditious action in this regard is solicited.

Cadre Restructuring -Latest status

It has been informed by Shri Ashutosh Tripathi, Member(P), Postal Services Board , Department of Posts that Cadre Restructuring Proposal which was agreed and finalized by the Department of Posts  after several  rounds of discussions with Unions has been  approved by the Finance Ministry and it  will be implemented soon.

        This is one of the great achievements of Unions as this has been done for the first time in Postal Department.
