Sub: Utility of Community Hall ,in Chikkadpally postal Quarters –reg.

        I am to bring the following to your notice and request your immediate intervention.

        The P&T community hall in Chikkadpally Postal Quarters is constructed with a sole aim of catering to the needs of families social functions of not only of residents of P&T Quarters but also to the needs of whole P&T staff in the city. It is a welfare measure to the staff that  the department has provided.

          It is not only brought to our notice but we are also seeing that this community hall is being utilised for office purposes like Bulk Mail Centre etc by RMS for the last one year.

We are receiving serious complaints not only from the residents in the Chikkadpally Quarters but also Postal and BSNL staff, stating that their requests to allot Community Hall , for the conduct of marriages and other family social functions are refused. They further complaint that they are compelled to pay exorbitant  rents to the private halls to conduct family social functions.

RJCM Staff side members seriously records its serious objections to the wrong use of the community hall to office purposes. We request your immediate intervention in this and order to stop utilising community hall for office purpose and restore it to its aimed objectives.
