Sub: Request for Sankranthi holiday,

          I am to submit the following for your kind consideration and an urgent decision. Circle Office has notified 14^th January as holiday for Sankranthi festival. The Andhra Pradesh and Telangana State Governments have declared 14^th ,15^th ,16^th January 2015  ( Bhogi,Sankranthi, kanuma) and 15^th, 16^th January 2015 (Sankranthi,Kanuma) as holidays respectively.

         From the above it is clear that the festival is on 15^th January. In view of the above we are requested kindly alter holiday from 14^th to 15^th January for Postal Staff in the Circle .This will enable the staff to remain with their families and celebrate the festival.

We request to issue necessary orders.
