Sub: -   Non following of prescribed schedule/dates while conducting of DPCs for filling up of LSG/HSG-II/HSG-I posts in the circle-Reg

Sir,

As per the existing rules on the subject, DPCs for filling up of posts of LSG/HSG-II/HSG-I posts in the circle has to be conducted in the month of April in every year. But unfortunately in our circle the time schedule is not following scrupulously due to various reasons. Due to this practice declined officials are getting placed in the zone of consideration and getting promotion every year and the officials placed below the declined officials were not getting their promotion and finally the spirit of the condition is defeated.

The condition of debarment of one year for promotion on declination of their promotion is placed for giving the opportunity to their juniors. Due to non conducting of DPCs in regular intervals, the junior officials were depriving their opportunity for promotion and the posts are not filling and lying vacant.

Therefore it is requested to cause to issue suitable orders for conducting of DPCs in regular and prescribed intervals so that the eligible officials can get the promotion.

A line in reply is highly solicited.

Yours faithfully

(DASV Prasad)
Circle Secretary
