Reference on DARPAN issues

Sir,
                This has reference to DARPAN issues reported by All India Postal Employees Union Group ‘C’ AP Circle Branch vide letter no. APU-III/ CWC-CSI/2018 dated 25.04.2018. Item-wise replies in this regard are furnished below for information

44.   DARPAN devices not working properly after 10:00 AM due to network problems/CBS server problems. The working hours of the most of the BOs in this division are falling in between 09 AM to 12 PM, owing to non availability of network connectivity; BPMs are unable to oblige the transactions of customers who turn up at the BOs during the working hours.
Reply: Issue already escalated to Directorate on 09.02.2018 & 03.04.2018

45.   RD Default fee accepted through RICT device is rounding off to the Rupee in SO RD LOT. Ex. If a BPM accepts Rs.1.5/- RD DF through DARPAN device, it appears as Rs.1.5/- in BO RD LOT but in SO RD LOT/Consolidation it is coming as Rs.1/-. Hence, differences arise in BO LOT and SO LOT.
Reply: Issue already escalated to Directorate and solution yet to be provided by RICT FSI team as per Directorate letter no. 25-17/2016-FS-CBS dated 25.04.2018.

46.   There is no provision of transfer of BO eMOs to BO DARPAN devices from account offices in CSI rolled out divisions.
Reply: DARPAN CSI App is going to be rolled out shortly which will address the issue reported

47.   Error occurs while opening of TD accounts with amount Rs.100/-.
Reply: Issue is taken up with FSI vendor for development as per Directorate letter no. 25-17/2016-FS-CBS dated 25.04.2018.

48.   Problem in dealing with High value withdrawals in RICT Machine.
Reply: Validation of 7 days has been removed in CBS APP version 1.3.1 and lien removal issue does not arise in DARPAN devices with said version. For devices with older versions, patch is under testing at CEPT and will be deployed shortly once tested.

DOPT issued a wonderfull order regarding Govt. servants covered by New Pension Scheme
