Minutes of Bi-Monthly meeting with Director of Postal Services (Hqrs) by
the representatives of AIPEU Gr-C Union (NFPE) held on 19.12.2012 in the O/o
the CPMG, A.P. Circle, Hyderabad is produced below. The following have attended

Immediate
shifting of the following Post offices in Hyderabad South East Division. Stn.
Kachiguda HO building is in dilapidated condition and The officials who are
working in the office are facing so many problems. Immediate shifting is
necessary.

The soil particulars and surveyed
site plan of proposed HPO building of Kachiguda received from EE (Civil) are
forwarded to Sr. Architect (P),

Frequent repairs to GenSet at Khairatabad HO, and mismatching of
generator connection to UPS at Khairatabad HO. SSPOs replied that the matter
is under examination at Circle Office. Kindly expedite action.

Proposal for shifting of generator from
Srinangar Colony S.O. to Khairatabad H.O. is under examination.

Supply of LX300 Printers to
Himayatnagar
All the existing printers at
Himayatnagar PO are not working properly. SSPOs, Hyderabad City Divn replied
that no stock is available at Hyd City Divn and proposal has been sent to CO
on 20-07-2012 for procurement of new printers.

The SSPOs, Hyderabad City Division
has informed that there are 7 Dot Matrix Printers available at Himayatnagar
PO and all are in working condition under AMC with M/s. HCL. Hence, there is
no emergent need to supply new printer to Himayatnagar SO at present.
But, the Union says that this is
quite contrary to the reply given by the SSPOs in the meeting at Divisional
level. SSPOs will be instructed to
reconcile the position and intimate to C.O.

Supply
of computer furniture in all C Class offices in Hyderabad South East
Division.
The SSPOs, Hyderabad South East
Division replied in the monthly meeting held on 30.10.2012 to item No.8-1/12
that on availability of funds, the issue will be taken up with the Circle
Office for necessary action. It is requested to permit the SSPOs, Hyderabad
South East Division for purchase of computer furniture with available funds
and allot required funds to purchase the computer chairs for Hyderabad South
East Division.

The
SSPOs, Hyderabad South East Division reported that printers were supplied to
all ‘C’ Class offices in their division. Regarding supply of computer chairs
/ tables it is intimated that there are 40 ‘C’ Class offices in the division.
Approximately an amount of ` 3,20,000/- @
rate of `
8,000/-
per office (` 4500/- per table + ` 3,500/-
per chair) is required for supply of the same.
Supply will be considered when
fund position permits.

Non
filling of SPM, Railnilayam SO with norm based LSG officials by the SSPOs,
Secunderabad.
The post of SPM, Railnilayam SO is
one and only norm based LSG post left over to the general line LSG officials
after identification of LSG post as Postmaster Grade-I posts in the Division.
The post is identified for rotation since last three years but the same is
not filled up by the SSPOs, Secunderabad Division though there are requests
from willing eligible officials. The eligible LSG official is depriving their
opportunity to work as SPM in the Division. It is requested to necessary
instructions may please be issued to fill up the post of SPM, Railnilayam SO.

Proposal for exchanging with the post
of SPM, Sainikpuri S.O. will be examined by Establishment branch of C.O.

|
Provision
of one more cash van to supply cash to SOs from Hyderabad GPO.
At present only one cash van is
supplying cash from Hyderabad GPO to Lingampally SO. Delay is taking place to
supply cash to those offices far away from the City. Customers are agitating
for waiting long time to get their cash. It is requested to provide one more
cash van for supplying cash.

The report of Chief Postmaster, Hyderabad
GPO called for and the issue is under examination.
|
Next Bi-Monthly
Meeting will be held on 20.02.2013 and the Agenda of items if any should reach
Circle Office on or before 04.02.2013.
