Vacant Central Government Posts declared by the Government in a reply to the Parliament question

Dear comrades,
While furnishing a reply to the question raised by Shri A. Sampath , 
Shri Ashok Kumar Rawat, Shri Vilas Muttemwar,Dr.Ram Chandra Dome and Shri M.B.Rajesh in Lok Sabha the following reply was given by Sri V.Narayanasamy, Hon'ble MOS (PP).
Group-wise estimated number of vacant posts of regular Central Government Civilian Employees as on 01.03.2012 is as follows:-

Erstwhile Group D posts have been categorized as Group C after implementation of 6th CPC. 

No such decision has been taken by the Government to reduce certain percentage of posts annually.  As per the Office Memorandum issued by the Ministry of Finance (Department of Expenditure) on 18.09.2013 on ‘Expenditure Management – Economy measures and rationalization of Expenditure’, posts that have remained vacant for more than a year are not to be revived except under very rare and unavoidable circumstances and after seeking clearance of Department of Expenditure.  Individual Ministries/Departments have to take necessary action to fill up vacant posts in their Departments.

It came to understood that the work force at the ground level, there is a heavy shortage of staff. without filling these vacant posts, the government cannot expect a quality of service to the public.

DOPT issued a wonderfull order regarding Govt. servants covered by New Pension Scheme

According to this order Govt. Servants who appointed on or after 01/01/2004 will cover New Pension Scheme can get Provisional Pension according to Old Pension Scheme where Govt.Servant Died/Retired on medical invalidation.For details Please click this link to down load the order
