NATIONAL POSTAL JCA DECISIONS

Dear Comrades,
National Postal JCA consisting of NFPE and FNPO Leaders met on 28/10/2009 in New Delhi.JCA unanimously decided to organise a nation wide "Save RMS" Programme by Postal JCA During November 2009 and culminating in Indefinite Strike from 15 th December 2009.As GDS union requested for time to finalise demands of GDS it has been decided to meet after RMS Strike.Other regularemployees unions also would finalise their demands in due course and would be discussed in nxt JCA meeting after RMS Strike.AIPEDEU Central Working Committee is going to meet from 20/11/2009 to 22/11/2009 for finalising demands.
I request all Divisional/Branch Secretaries and Circle Office Bearers to Mobilise rank and file to implement the Programme of Action given by National JCA.Please click the below link and get the JCA Circular and Charter of demands.

Corrigendum to MACP Scheme issued by the Postal Directorate

Dear Comrades,
Postal Directorate issued Corrigendum to MACP scheme orders issued on 18/09/09 read with corrigendum dated 24/09/2009.
1.In top 2nd line of Page No.11 of the OM for words "(MACPS) w.e.f 01/09/2009" may be read as "(MACPS) w.e.f.01/09/2008".

Use of own car/hired taxi on LTC journey on account of Physically Handicap

Dear Comrades,
DOPT has been decided in relaxation of LTC rules to authorise the HOD to allow use of own/hired taxi for LTC journey on account of disability of the Government servant or dependent family member after obtaining following papers/conditions to avoid misuse of such relaxation vide its memo No.F.No.31011/3/2009-Estt.(A) dated 28/10/2009.
1.Medical certificate from cometent authority
2.Undertaking from Gevernment servant that journey in authorised mode is not feasible and he actually travelled by own car/hired taxi
3.Such claim should not be more than journey performed by the entitled class by rail/air by the shortest route.

System Administrators Seminar and release of reprint of Autobiography of Com Babu Tarapada will be held on 01/11/2009

Dear Comrades,

Autobiography of Com.Babu Tarapada was published in 1962.The book was translated in Telugu by Com.T.Jayanth the then Circle Secretary. Now the same was reprinted and will be released by Com.R.L.Bhattacharji, Ex Dy.Secretaries General, NFPE. The Price of the book is Rs.20/-.

Fixation of pay in case of employees who seek transfer to a lower post under FR 15(a)

DOPT in its order F.No.13/09/2009-Estt(Pay-I) dated 21/10/2009 issued clarification regarding Fixation of pay in case of employees who seek transfer to a lower post under FR-15(a).The order says that "Consequent up on implementation of the revised pay structure comprising grade pays and running pay bands, w.e.f 01/01/2006 in cases of appointment of Government servants to posts carrying lower grade pay under FR 15(a) on their own request, the pay in the pay band of the Government servant will be fixed at a stage equal to the pay in the pay band drawn by him prior to his appointment against the lower post.However,he will be granted grade pay of lower post.Further,in all cases,he will continue to draw his increments based on his pay in the pay band+grade pay(lower)".For full text of the order copy please click the below link and down load.
