REIMBURSEMENT OF MEDICAL CLAIM BY CGHS BENIFICIARIES FROM CGHS( or Dept.) AS WELL AS INSURANCE COMPANY

Now Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in its order No.S.11011/4/2003 CGHS-P dtd 19/02/2009 it is clarified that Government servants covered under CGHS and CSMA Rules 1944, can claim their medical expenses from two sources-From Insurance agencies and from the CGHS or from the Ministry/Department.First you have to claim from insurance agency and then you have to apply for CGHS or Ministry/Department. Hence dear comrades please utilise this fecility if you had taken any mediclaim or health insurance policies.For full text of the order copy Please click the following link

DOPT issued a wonderfull order regarding Govt. servants covered by New Pension Scheme

According to this order Govt. Servants who appointed on or after 01/01/2004 will cover New Pension Scheme can get Provisional Pension according to Old Pension Scheme where Govt.Servant Died/Retired on medical invalidation.For details Please click this link to down load the order
