Minutes of Four-Monthly meeting by Chief Postmaster General with the
representatives of All India Postal Employees Union Group-C (NFPE) held on 17.04.2015
in the O/o the CPMG, A.P. Circle, Hyderabad are produced below. The following

PO for parking of cycles, motor cycles of the staff working at the PO.
Vacant
land is available at backside of the post office which can be utilised for
parking place by erecting a shed in that place.

Provision
of lunch room for trainees at WCTC, Humayun Nagar.
Regular trainings are taking place at
WCTC, Humayun Nagar, number of trainees are attending the training programme
at WCTC. There is no lunch room for trainees. The lunch room may be provided
by de-quarterising the quarter portion of SPM.

Dequarterisation of Humayunnagar is
approved. Regarding provision of lunch room at WCTC, Humayunnagar, orders
will be issued.

Provision of
Recreation Club room at Guntur HO.
There are nearly 100 employees are
working at Guntur HO. For them there is no recreation club at Guntur HO.
Postmaster General, Vijayawada given a reply to the item, there is no place
for providing of Recreation Club. It is requested to cause to issue suitable
orders for providing of Recreation Club room at Guntur HO.

During the recent visit of the CPMG,
some place was identified for Recreation Club at Guntur HO. It may be
provided and compliance reported so that this issue is settled before the
next Four-Monthly Meeting.

Non
drawl of HRA to the officials working in NISA, Hakimpet SO (SPM and PA).
It was replied
by the SSPOs, Secunderabad Division that CO has referred vide letter No. D /
Misc / NISA Hakimpet SO / 13-14 dated 25.02.2014 in respect of
de-quarterization of quarters due to snake threat. Please expedite immediate
action.

Proposal for de-quarterisation of
NISA, Hakimpet received from SSPOs, Secunderabad Division and the proposal is
in process. Queries of the CIFA are forwarded to Secunderabad
Division. Report is awaited from Secunderabad Division.

Immediate
rectification of the following problems in CBS at Hyderabad Jubilee HO faced
by officials working there.
a)
Supply of new systems
b)
Increase of bandwidth of SIFY
The following reply was furnished
by the SSPOs, Hyderabad South East Division in response to the above item.
a)
A proposal submitted to CO for
procurement of 40 systems. Approval is awaited.
b)
A proposal sent to CO for increase of
SIFY band speed. Approval is awaited.
It is requested to expedite the action
immediately.

Systems were supplied to Hyderabad South East Division during May-2014.
Supply of additional 24 systems to Hyderabad South East Division is under
process. Orders placed. Supply is due to be received.
b) There
was a request for increase of Bandwidth from 512 KBPS to 2 MBPS for Jubilee
HO from SSPOs, Hyderabad South East Division vide letter dated 03.06.2014 and
accordingly it was pursued with SIFY and Bandwidth got increased to 1 MBPS as
per eligibility of Directorate norms. Directorate permitted for enhancement
of 1 MBPS and this was issued with effect from 13.06.2014. Subsequently
Directorate has also approved for enhancement of bandwidth to 2 MBPS on vide
letter dated 09.03.2015.

Identification
of Postmaster Grade-III post office in Hyderabad City Division.
No
post office was identified for Postmaster Grade-III in Hyderabad City
Division. It is requested to identify at least one Post Office for Postmaster
Grade-III in Hyderabad City Division.

The Directorate vide letter No. 4-5/2011-SPB-II dated 09.05.2011
directed to identify 34 HOs in the Circle. Accordingly 34 HOs were identified
as Postmaster Grade-III Office vide Memo No. F.No. 04-5/2011-SPB_II dated
09.05.2011. In Hyderabad City Division, there is only one HO is available in
Gazetted Cadre which cannot be identified as Postmaster Grade-III. As per
Directorate instructions only HOs which are in HSG-I status can be identified
under Postmaster Grade-III. Hence, there is no possibility to identify any
Post Office in Hyderabad City Division as Postmaster Grade-III Office.
The scope for up gradation of PO to
HO can be explored. Establishment Section of Circle Office is requested to
take necessary action on this.

information and necessary action.

take necessary action on old item No’s. 1-05/2014, 2-05/2014, 3-05/2014 and new
Item No. 1-04/2015.

Assistant Director (Rectt & Wlf), Circle Office, Hyderabad. He is requested
to take necessary action on old item No. 3-05/2014.
4. The
Assistant Director (Technology), Circle Office, Hyderabad. He is requested to
take necessary action on new item No. 2-04/2015.
5. The
Assistant Director (Estt.), Circle Office, Hyderabad. He is requested to take
necessary action on new item No. 3-04/2015.
I am directed by the competent authority to
request you to issue necessary instructions on the items to the Regions / Units
concerned by endorsing copies to the Representatives of the Unions /
Associations concerned. It is also requested to
endorse copy to the union cell on the action taken as progress report is to be
submitted to Chief PMG. Sd/-
