                        The Minutes of Bi-Monthly meeting of Hyderabad City Region by Director of Postal Services (Hqrs) with the representatives of All India Postal Employees Union Group-C (NFPE) held on 09.09.2014 in the Conference Hall of Dak Sadan, O/o the CPMG, A.P. Circle, Hyderabad is produced below. The following have attended the meeting.

1-05/ 2014	Implementation of Directorate guidelines by SSPOs, Hyderabad City Division while ordering rotational transfers to PSD, Hyderabad.         SSPOs, Hyderabad City Division is not implementing the Directorate guidelines while ordering rotational transfers to Hyderabad PSD. Suitable orders may be issued to SSPOs to implement the Directorate orders.	Procedure being followed in other circles is being ascertained.  A further reply may please be awaited.
1-07/ 2014	Sanction of treasury allowance at PSD, Hyderabad.           Treasury post was sanctioned by IFA, and the treasurer was selected by Hyderabad City Regional office. But since two years treasury allowance is not being drawn. Hence it is requested to cause necessary action to sanction treasury allowance at PSD, Hyderabad.	The SP, PSD was directed vide Circle Office letter No. EST / CHA / 2013 dated 15.07.2014 to take action at his end. As per GIO 12 under FR 9 the SP, PSD is authorized to sanction eligible special pay to the cashier of PSD.  ITEM CLOSED

1-09/ 2014	Problems faced by the staff of Divisional Office, Hyderabad City Division.                After shifting the DO to 3rd floor the following problems arisen. This union in ITEM NO.1-12/2012 focussed the problem at DO. Still there are few items not settled till today. Please settle the items. They are a.       In summer because of heat the staff who are working at Divisional office are unable to sit, this union requests for fall ceiling of DO or total air conditioning. b.      Entire GPO building connected with generator, but Divisional office has no generator facility. The power cutting in the state is four to five hours. This union requests immediate generator connection to Divisional Office. c.       Evert time the staff are going to Xerox shop even for single copy opposite to GPO building by crossing heavy traffic road and this should be for so many times a day. While crossing GPO road, possibility of accidents can happen to staff. So this union requests for supply of one XEROX MACHINE to Hyderabad City Divisional Office.	a.       Report from Civil wing awaited. b.      Report called for from AE (E) regarding provision of Generator connection to City Division form the available generator at GPO or an additional genset required for providing generator of required capacity to Divisional Office. Report is awaited. c.  The existing Xerox machine will be repaired soon
2-09/ 2014	Provision of post of Electrician in Hyderabad City Division.             All the Post Offices in the Division have been facing frequent electrical problems and there is no Departmental Electrician in the Division. The SSPOs is requested to take up the matter with all concerned for appointing a regular Electrician in the Division for attending to all the electrical problems in the Division.	There is a ban on creation of post.  The services of Electrician of Hyderabad G.P.O. may be utilized in Hyderabad City Division whenever possible. ITEM CLOSED
3-09/ 2014	Arrest leakage of rain water at Khairatabad HO.         The leakage of rainy water in the delivry building is increasing day by day. No action is being taken by the administration to settle the long pending issue. There is a possibility of electric short circuit and that could lead to loss of lives.	Civil Wing has attended the work.                                                                         ITEM CLOSED

3.   The Assistant Director (Estt & Inv), Circle Office, Hyderabad. He is requested to take necessary action on the item No’s. 1-07/2014, 2-09/2014. 

4.   The Assistant Director (Buildings), Circle Office, Hyderabad. He is requested to take necessary action on the item No’s. 1-09/2014, 3-09/2014. 

5.   The Assistant Director (Mails & MM) (SD Cell), Circle Office, Hyderabad. He is requested to take necessary action on the item No. 1-09/2014.

                           It is requested to take necessary action as per the replies and endorse copy to the union cell on the action taken as progress report is to be submitted to DPS (Hqrs)
